The St. Cloud State Veterans Resource Center has named Zachary Mangas as their Interim Director, effective Monday.

A member of the Minnesota National Guard, Mangas will serve to meet the needs of the Veterans Resource Centers’ 700 veteran students by developing, implementing and administering associated programs and services.

He most recently received his Master’s Degree in Counseling and Student Development from SCSU where he was an intern at the Veterans Resource Center. Mangas also served as a student advisor to fellow Huskies and as a UCHOOSE instructor.

Before St. Cloud, he achieved his undergraduate degree in Communications from the University of Minnesota Duluth.

Mangas is replacing Monique Coleman who left the position earlier this summer. She was the first full-time Director of the Veterans Resource Center.
