Barlow Named NSIC Player of Week

SCSU senior guard Talisha Barlow has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference player of the week for her performances this past weekend against Minnesota State and Southwest Minnesota State.
The Little Canada, Minnesota native scored 19 points against the Mavericks on Friday night but made the most noise Saturday against the Mustangs of Southwest as she scored a career-high 34 points. Barlow shot 13-for-23 from the field and 6-for-8 from the free-throw line in the game and also had eight rebounds.
Barlow leads St. Cloud on the season in scoring, averaging 13.1 points-per-game. The Huskies will be at Halenbeck Hall this weekend in their final homestand of the year. Northern State is the opponent on Friday with the University of Mary coming into town on Saturday.
