Bergstraser Leads Huskies to Win

St. Cloud State sophomore Tim Bergstraser scored a career high 21 points to lead the Huskies to an 84 to 73 win over Concordia University, St. Paul Saturday night. SCSU improved to 8 and 1 overall and 4 and 1 in the NSIC. The loss dropped the Golden Bears to 4 and 5 overall and 1 and 4 in the NSIC.
Bergstraser was one of four Husky starters to score in double figures and collected his second double double of the season. He made 6 of 11 field goal attempts and all nine free throw attempts. Junior guard Shaun Jensen equaled a career high with 20 points to go along with his 8 assists. The Huskies shot 44.8 percent from the field.
Kenny Olafeso led the Golden Bears with 20 points and ten rebounds as the Golden Bears shot 46.8 percent from the field. The Huskies return to the court on January 2nd in an NSIC match up against Augustana College at 8 p.m.
