Husky Baseball Wins First Two Games At Wayne St.

The Huskies defeated Wayne State twice on the baseball diamond Saturday to run their winning streak to five games. SCSU took down the Wildcats 5-2 in game one and 10-0 in game two.
The Fischer brothers shined for St. Cloud State on Saturday. Sophomore Garrett Fischer went 4-7 on the day with two runs scored and three RBI. Sophomore Kyle Fischer was the winning pitcher in game one after striking out four in 6.2 innings.
Junior lefty Shawn Riesgraf was dominant once again on the hill for the Huskies in game two. He ran his record to 4-0 on the season by pitching seven shutout innings with ten strikeouts.
With the wins St. Cloud State is 20-5 overall and 5-1 in NSIC play.
