Husky Soccer Splits Weekend

The SCSU Soccer squad fell 2-1 on Friday at Bemidji State, then rebounded for a 1-0 win Sunday afternoon over the University of Minnesota-Crookston at Husky Stadium.
Haley Greving was St. Cloud's lone goal scorer in Friday's defeat with the tally coming off a corner kick. Gabby Fleck was given an assist on the play.
On Sunday the Huskies got the only goal they needed from Michelle Cornell, with the assist credited to Faith Bila.
Kenzlie Hanzlik earned the shutout in net for SCSU.
St. Cloud State is now 7-6-1 in NSIC play and 8-7-2 overall. The team is back in action on Wednesday night for the first round of the NSIC playoffs.
