Lieser K's 10, throws no-hitter in Win against NSU

The St. Cloud State Baseball team defeated the Northern State Wolves 10-0 yesterday in Carlos, Minnesota behind a masterful no-hitter by sophomore pitcher Scott Lieser.
The Browerville, Minnesota native pitched seven innings for the Huskies, walked one and struck out ten Wolves in the process. Lieser is now 6-0 on the season and lowered his ERA to 3.64. The hurler got plenty of help from his offense as the Huskies put ten runs on the board. Jordan Smith and Brian Hanson each went 2-for-3 from the plate with two RBI a piece.
The Huskies are 29-8 on the season and 17-6 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. SCSU will travel on the road this weekend to Crookston, Minnesota to take on the Golden Eagles of UMC.
