Men's Hockey Begins Home Stand

After a road split with Alaska Anchorage last weekend the SCSU men’s hockey team dropped to 17th in the USCHO poll. This weekend the team will be home for a pair of WCHA games with the red-hot Univerity of Nebraska-Omaha. Beginning a ten game home stand for the team. The Mavericks are currently ranked 14th and are one point behind the Huskies in the WCHA standings. Listen to both games of the series on KVSC. Friday’s coverage will begin at 7:15 with a 7:37 drop of the puck. Tune in for game two of the series Saturday night, the puck will drop at 7:07 with a 6:45 pregame.
