SCSU Baseball Ends Season, Headed to NSIC Tournament

The No. 18 ranked St. Cloud State baseball team finished their regular season on a sour note at the hands of Minnesota State. The Mavericks took three of four games from St. Cloud on the weekend, including a two game sweep of SCSU Sunday in Mankato. With their performance on the weekend, Minnesota State was able to claim the NSIC regular season championship. SCSU finished the regular season with an impressive 36-13 record and went 23-9 in the conference. SCSU earned the three seed in this week’s NSIC Tournament where they will be playing Minnesota Duluth at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud.
