After a 92-84 victory over #4 MSU-Mankato, the SCSU Men's Basketball team had much to reflect on. The Huskies got their tenth victory in a row at home while making it seven straight wins overall after beating Southwest Minnesota and MSU-Mankato last weekend. The win against Mankato avenged a previous defeat they suffered to the first place team in the conference.
Matt Schneck scored a career high 34 points with 18 rebounds against Mankato to earn the team their 20th win of the season. The 20 wins is also the seventh time that Head Coach Kevin Schlagel has reached that mark.
With the wins, Saint Cloud draws to within one game of MSU-Mankato for first place in the NSIC, while improving their conference mark to14-3 with an overall tally of 20-4.
The Huskies have three games remaining in the regular season and will play next at home on Saturday, against the University of Minnesota-Crookston.
