Softball Sweeps MSU-Moorhead At Selke Sunday

The Huskies softball squad swept senior day at Selke Field Sunday against MSU-Moorhead. The Huskies won game one 7-1 and game two 3-2.
Freshman pitcher Kelly Franks won her eight and ninth games of the season, first as a starter in game one and as a relief pitcher in game two.
Junior shortstop Kelly Olson was 5-5 for the afternoon with two home runs, two doubles and a single. Bobbi Boomgarden hit a pair of home runs on the afternoon, including a walk-off game winner in game two.
The Huskies are now 22-28 overall and 8-16 in the NSIC. The Huskies take on Minnesota-Crookston in the season finale Sunday.
