Track and Field's Miller a National Champ

St. Cloud State senior Heather Miller is a national champion after winning the NCAA Division 2 National Pentathlon Championship this past weekend in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Sun Prairie, Wisconsin native scored a national and school record 3,993 points to become only the third female track athlete to win a national title; the first since 1992.
The national championship caps off a spectacular indoor season for Miller as she was also named 2010 Central Region Female Field Athlete of the Year, the 2010 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Female Field Athlete of the Year and a two time NSIC pentathlon champion.
