Witt Gains NSIC Honors

It was an exciting weekend for the St. Cloud State men’s basketball team as they picked up two conference wins at home and saw their senior captain Taylor Witt receive NSIC honors.
The Morris, Minnesota native had 53 points on the weekend, including a game-high 31 in an overtime win against Bemidji State on Friday. Saturday’s win against Minnesota-Duluth saw Witt lead all scorers once again with 21 points in the 94-74 victory.
Witt seemed to do it all for the Huskies as he contributed 13 assists in addition to nine steals on the weekend.
The Huskies will head to Crookston this weekend as they take on the Golden Eagles on Friday in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play.
