1.)    When did you get involved with 88.1 FM?

I first started training in the fall of 2010.

2.)  What show(s) do you currently host on KVSC and what programs have you hosted in the past?

I currently host the 4 p.m. news edition on Tuesdays and Husky Sports Friday at 4:30 on Fridays. I've been known to read sports whenever I am around during newscasts and fill in for various shifts when I have time. Im also behind the mic for most of the sports we cover!

3.) Please list some of the artists and musicians you consider to be a must play on your show(s)?

My KVSC music knowledge is growing and changing everyday with all the great choices. A few that come to mind right away as favorites are The Black Angels, Macklemore, Frank Ocean, The Lumineers, Gaslight Anthem, Norah Jones and the local stuff.

4.) Why are you involved with independent community radio at 88.1 FM?

I am involved because we bring news and sports coverage to listeners that can’t be found anywhere else along with a unique mix of music!

5.) What is in your personal CD player, iPod, or mp3 right now (BE HONEST)?

Lots of country music, I am a country music junkie both the old and new! But I’ve also got a fair amount of classic and alternative rock in the mix.

6.)  Please disclose the most embarrassing music moment or concert you’ve attended or album you’ve bought (perhaps even shameful)

When I was young I was obsessed with the Lizzie McGuire Show, I made my parents buy me the soundtrack for the show and movie, it’s sadly still on my iPod today.

7.) What are your hobbies and interest?

Ahhh sporting events (surprise), spending time with family and friends, photography, music, travel and almost anything outdoors.

8.) When you are not at work or KVSC, where can you most likely be found?

If I’m not at work, KVSC, working on homework or watching sports...well that's pretty much it. Anywhere else is likely with my family and friends cracking jokes and spending time outdoors.

9.) If it were the end of the world and you could only take five things with you, what would they be (BE HONEST)?

I would bring my phone, a disposable waterproof camera, a life jacket since I can’t swim very well, and a couple people to keep me company!

10.) What do you think is the future of radio?

Radio is an essential form of communication so I don’t think that the future of radio is in any jeopardy. The industry has just learned how to adapt to all the technology and embrace the change, it’s not going anywhere!
