It’s Diversions so that’s a tough question. I’d mention Wilco, Calexico, Yo La Tengo, John Coltrane, Buddy Guy, Andrew Bird, Modest Mouse, CCR, Allman Brothers, John Lee Hooker, Bob Marley, My Morning Jacket, Built to Spill, Oscar Peterson, Neil Young, The Hold Steady, Charles Mingus, Sonic Youth, Flogging Molly, Indigo Girls, Thelonious Monk, Emma Lou Harris, Pinetop Perkins…and many more.

4.) Why are you involved with independent community radio at 88.1 FM? 

 “Cause I like it”

5.) What is in your personal CD player, iPod, or mp3 right now (BE HONEST)?  

In the CD changer: “The List” Rosanne Cash, “Saturday Night at the Blue Note” Oscar Peterson Trio, “Furr” Blitzen Trapper, “There is No Enemy” Built to Spill, “Future Games” Fleetwood Mac. Black Joe Lewis, Calexico, and Cedell Davis have been in my car for about 6 months. I wish they would empty the ash tray.

6.) Please disclose the most embarrassing music moment or concert you’ve attended or album you’ve bought (perhaps even shameful)?       

Hi, my name is Steve and I own a Monkees Album.                                       

7.) What are your hobbies and interests?
Gardening, Kayaking, Travel, (better if it’s near a Micro Brewery) listening to new music,  collecting vinyl, Husky Hockey, dinning , seeking deals on vintage stereo gear.
8.) When you are not at work or KVSC, where can you most likely be found?
Walking my dog

9.) If it were the end of the world and you could only take five things with you, what would they be (BE HONEST)?       

If it’s the end of the world where would I be taking this stuff? Couch, Stereo, vinyl, book, stout.
