kvsc_logo.gif1.)    When did you get involved with 88.1 FM?

Summer 2004

2.)  What show(s) do you currently host on KVSC and what programs have you hosted in the past?

Currently host the Morning Show Pt 2 on Wednesdays. I have also hosted Diversions, Afternoon Progressive Rock Shows, Morning Shows, Noon and 4pm News Editions, and even an overnight shift (when there was still a volunteer behind the mic on a 24 hr basis ) on a regular basis. I have also filled in on every show that KVSC has to offer except for The Area.
3.) Please list some of the artists and musicians you consider to be a must play on your show(s)?
I am a huge fan of Minnesota music. I believe all local music is a must play on KVSC. Especially, string band/ old timey/ folk/ Americana/ bluegrass artists and bands from Minnesota.
4.) Why are you involved with independent community radio at 88.1 FM?
A better question to ask is ----To whomever is reading this article---Why are you NOT involved at KVSC? Why am I? Great music, much to all of it you will have difficulty discovering without KVSC. Great folks, ALL of KVSC’s volunteers have common goals. Namely to put quality music, news, sports, and information on the air.
5.) What is in your personal CD player, iPod, or mp3 right now (BE HONEST)?
The Avett Brothers---Four Thieves Gone: The Robbinsville Sessions
6.) Please disclose the most embarrassing music moment or concert you’ve attended or album you’ve bought (perhaps even shameful)
Ugly Kid Joe----Shameful and embarrassing at the same time for a couple of reasons 1.      I stole the CD from Pamida (yes, it’s true. But in my defense, I was only a child and did not proper moral decision making skills.) 2.      I did not even own a CD player at this time in my life and I never got to listen to it at all. (4th Grade)3.      I did not know the band at all, but I liked the picture of the Statue of Liberty giving the finger.
7.) What are your hobbies and interest?
The library, on my bicycle, or driving on the open road
