kvsc_logo.gif1.)    When did you get involved with 88.1 FM?

I began my training in March, 2010.

2.)  What show(s) do you currently host on KVSC and what programs have you hosted in the past?

I’m currently hosting ‘Sisters’ every other Sunday. I have co-hosted Afternoon Progressive Rock Show and Diversions (during my training that is).

3.) Please list some of the artists and musicians you consider to be a must play on your show(s)?
Well, since I’m just starting, I’m yet to find that out...will keep you posted!
4.) Why are you involved with independent community radio at 88.1 FM?
KVSC is a great place to gain broadcasting experience, and at the same time to serve the community’s interests
5.) What is in your personal CD player, iPod, or mp3 right now (BE HONEST)?
Some great hits from John Legend, Dido, UB 40, P-Square, and of course lots of Kenyan locals.
6.) Please disclose the most embarrassing music moment or concert you’ve attended or album you’ve bought (perhaps even shameful)
I was performing in a quartet one time, and I was the only soprano, meaning I had to cue the other voices in...I went completely blank at some point and we had to stop and start all over again…I couldn’t face my group after that!
7.) What are your hobbies and interest?
I love to sing, camping, watching movies, volunteer work, biking, playing tennis and spending some quality time with family and friends.
8.) When you are not at work or KVSC, where can you most likely be found?
When I’m not working I hang out at home with my friends, practice music at my church, and attend some local community events.
9.) If it were the end of the world and you could only take five things with you, what would they be (BE HONEST)?
Hmm…Let’s see….first I would take my King James Bible, laptop, cell phone, photo album, and my passport.
10.) What do you think is the future of radio?
Radio is here to stay. It’s the most accessible medium in the world. Whether you are in the most high tech or the most remote place, you will always receive radio signal.
