kvsc_logo.gif1.)    When did you get involved with 88.1 FM?

I first started out at KVSC as an intern in the news department back in the fall of 2010, writing mostly local news stories. After that I got involved more here: working with the engineers and eventually starting the on air training program. I am now a DJ here a KVSC.

2.)  What show(s) do you currently host on KVSC and what programs have you hosted in the past?

As of now I do not have any regularly scheduled shows, I’m just starting out, but    hopefully soon I’ll start doing some. As far as filling in, I have filled in on a few shows.

3.) Please list some of the artists and musicians you consider to be a must play on your show(s)?

Some of my favorites include Phoenix, Justice, Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem,    Bassnectar. I try to throw in a little E.L.O for pre 1990 and David Brubeck for jazz.

4.) Why are you involved with independent community radio at 88.1 FM?

Well, it just kind of worked out that way I guess. As I said I, got an internship here for work experience and it just sort of went from there.

5.) What is in your personal CD player, iPod, or mp3 right now (BE HONEST)?

Almost all of Daft Punk, lots of Justice, all of Phoenix, lots of E.L.O., lots of Coldplay, MGMT, Modest Mouse, lots of Muse, The Police, The Killers, The Glitch Mob, Frank Bioshock, and Pokemon Gold & Silver.

6.) Please disclose the most embarrassing music moment or concert you’ve attended or album you’ve bought (perhaps even shameful).
It would have to be the time I bought a Madonna album on vinyl at a flea market in about sixth grade. I might have listened to it once. Does anyone want it?
7.) What are your hobbies and interests?
Well, I enjoy playing bass and other instruments, searching the inter-webs, pwning  n00bs at Call of Duty, (I play other video games too, Metal Gear Solid is my favorite), steampunk, anime, Minecraft, making/dismantling electronic devices, and being an audiophile.
8.) When you are not at work or at KVSC, where can you most likely be found?
Most likely at home, or here on campus at Otaku Society, JP Network, Taiko Drums, or Cru, or working with my youth group.
9.) If it were the end of the world and you could only take five things with you, what would they be (BE HONEST)?
Well, if it were the end of the world I wouldn’t be able to bring anything with me, now would I?
10.) What do you think is the future of radio?
Robots. Or trained monkeys.
