Donated Pottery

Jasper Bond Stoneware Company
KVSC would like to thank Jasper Stoneware Company for its support during our pledge drive. Minnesota potter Jasper Bond creates his pottery in Sauk Rapids. Each piece is thrown on a foot-powered treadle potter's wheel and fired in a glass kiln. All glazes are lead-free and are oven-proof, microwave and dishwasher safe.
St. John's Pottery
KVSC would like to thank St. John's Pottery for its continued support during our pledge drive. Since its inception in 1979, the St. John's Pottery Program has made the finest quality pottery and sculpture using indigenous materials. The environment, the clay and the people involved are treated with the same reverence as the object.

Tea Bowls
These beautiful, handcrafted tea bowls were made from materials indigenous to Central Minnesota. Inside each bowl is a hand carved Sung dynasty symbol, which signifies the “first tea” of the full ceremony. These special edition tea bowls were made by master pottery Richard Bresnahan from the St. John’s University Pottery Studios.

Wild Grape Bowls
Handcrafted by master potter Richard Bresnahan, these wild grape bowls will add decadence to any atmosphere. The square-shaped dish features a Navy bean-straw-and-ash glaze. The one-of-a-kind masterpiece was created last fall in the second chamber of the third chamber kiln.
