Thanks to your membership pledges and support, KVSC is rebuilding and updating its studio space and technology to continue to play the best music not played anywhere else on the radio - independent alternative artists, local music and genres ranging from hip-hop, folk, jazz, Native American and everything in between.
Our DIY (Do It Yourself) project includes a complete re-build of the main On Air and Production studios, which began in mid-May. The studios are nearly 30-years old and the remodel will modernize the space for on air-hosts, make it easier to welcome guest on air, as well as for training new deejays.
The project also includes new audio boards (consoles), digital storage, routing and network sharing between all of KVSC's studios.
Thanks to you our members and volunteers, this extreme makeover (radio edition) will continue to make Your Sound Alternative a discovery point in our community.

KVSC.org presents an original production--the amazing journey of Holocaust survivor Dr. Henry Oertelt. The entire podcast series is presented in episodes of the 18 critical events that led to Henry's survival of five Nazi concentration camps and a three day death march. Henry Oertelt's compelling book, "An Unbroken Chain" was recorded and engineered at the KVSC studios. KVSC is sincerely honored to be the audio archival source of Dr. Oertelt's eternal message of hope and dignity.
