Jon Wayne and The Pain
Jon Wayne is a local artist originally getting his start in Fargo, N.D. After moving to Minneapolis he formed the band Jon Wayne and the Pain with the addition of drummer Chris Hicks. Along the way he joined Chuck Torgerson to support them with bass. The band has a nice mix of music influenced mainly by ska, reggae, and blues, which they have dubbed their creation 'Redemption Reggae.' According to their website, they’ve been joined on stage before by members of Sublime and Slightly Stooped, noted as two scene favorites in Minneapolis.
