Legacy Weekend July 2012
The 2008 passage of Minnesota’s Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment has
had a profound effect upon communities all over the state, and Explore Minnesota has come up with a series of Legacy Destination Weekends, an innovative program to help showcase Legacy events. In this July 2012 news feature, Arts & Cultural Heritage Producer Jeff Carmack talks with Executive Director of Minnesota Citizens for the Arts Sheila Smith about Minnesota’s unique manner of supporting the arts and previews upcoming events which the Legacy Destination Weekend will be celebrating here in St. Cloud and the surrounding area.
