Searle’s in St. Cloud. Survive and Thrive is more than just the name of the conference; it is also the underlying philosophy that survivors of sudden cardiac arrest must adapt into their lives in order to recover. One must have something to live for, and the medical sciences are beginning to look at the science behind creativity as this “something to live for.” The incorporation of this philosophy is making the conference more of a festival than just classrooms and panel discussions, so hold on as Dr. Veeder lets us know how we can survive and thrive!
