KVSC is seeking out adventurous souls to participate in an atypical volunteer opportunity. If you enjoy hanging out with creative --and sometimes zany -- people and being wined and dined, then we could really use your help. Volunteers are needed between 5pm Friday, Feb. 8 and 7pm Sunday, Feb. 10.
Most volunteers work the trivia hotlines, which is literally the nerve center of Trivia Weekend. Training is minimal and provided on-site. The shifts are offered in three-hour increments, and nocturnal volunteers are in high demand. Those who bank 15 hours or more will receive a free Vote Trivia 08
t-shirt.
Many local restaurants and businesses donate a plethora of food to Trivia Weekend. Historically, the prospect of food alone has enticed many into volunteering their time. Keep in mind, we consider our vegan and vegetarian friends when placing food orders. All volunteers are guaranteed to leave with plump stomachs and stimulated minds. This opportunity can be used to satisfy community service hours – curfew violators are welcomed!
