In today’s installment of the Untold Stories of Central Minnesota, Arts and Cultural Heritage Producer Jeff Carmack talks with Jesse Abel and Alex Wilki from SCSU’s Student Veterans Organization about their Inaugural Veteran’s Picnic that took place Saturday, August 8th at Lake George in St. Cloud. It was a chance for veterans and their families as well as community members to come together for networking, fun, and community building as a new means for vets reintegrate into civilian society.
