Archived: Catholic Charities to Accept Food Donations at URbAN Marketplace
Catholic Charities will be conducting a food drive for the local food-shelves at St. Cloud’s URbAN Marketplace for the duration of September. Demand is up at local food shelves due to the economic slowdown.
Catholic Charities will have a booth set up at the URbAN Marketplace where people can bring non-perishable food items, monetary donations, or even purchase fresh produce at the market to donate to the food shelf. In exchange for a donation, donors will receive “Honest Tea” to enjoy at the market.
URbAN Marketplace takes place from 11 am until 2 pm every Wednesday at the corner of West St. Germain and Sixth Avenue North, next to St. Cloud Floral. The market runs through September.
