The Stearns History Museum is inviting you to join us for another Hops & History!

This time, they’ll be at Beaver Island Brewing Company learning more about the disasters and tragedies of the Mississippi River with writer and Mississippi River historian Dean Klinkenberg. He will be discussing his new book, in which he explores the many disastrous events to have occurred on and along the river in the 19th and 20th centuries– from steamboat explosions to Yellow Fever epidemics, floods, and prohibition piracy.

Hops and History is Thursday, November 10 starting at 5:30 p.m., It’s free for members and there is a small fee for non-members.
