All lanes on Highway 22 in Eden Valley will be open to motorists by 9 a.m. on Friday.

Minnesota Department of Transportation says the purpose of the closure in Eden Valley was to reconstruct Highway 22 and segments of Central, Coleman and Cossairt Avenues and to improve the utilities in Eden Valley.

They say the reconstruction of Highway 22 adds to the overall efficiency and safety of the local transportation system by having a smoother ride, extended road life, better lighting, new sidewalks, pedestrian accessibility and upgraded utilities.
