FIRST EPISODE – Peace Corps Volunteer experience, challenges and work in Bostswana
KVSC’s Korina Borash is launching a series in which she updates us on the whereabouts of her sister, Mackenzie, as a Peace Corps volunteer.
Mackenzie is stationed in Botswana, Africa, for 27 months as a volunteer working with HIV and AIDS patients at a local clinic in a small village called Gweta. She took flight across the Atlantic Ocean August 1, 2015. Since then, Korina has been in contact with Mackenzie to learn about her experience, challenges and work in the clinic.
Join the Borash sisters in this interview as Mackenzie shares her inspiration to join the Peace Corps, the Botswana culture and life as a Peace Corps volunteer. This marks the first of many updates with the Borash’s throughout the 27 months Mackenzie will be living abroad.
